What to expect:

For the allocated suppliers from the group, you will be in charge with:

Oversee a portfolio of components and services
Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes
Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
Prepare reports and updates as and when required
Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings
Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
Conduct research for new suppliers
Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets
Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations
Keep attention to detail and accuracy.

What you bring along:

Ideally Bachelor/Master’s degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field
Strong technical background or understanding
3+ years of purchasing experience
Ability to collaborate effectively within teams
Proficiency in SAP MM (Material Management)
Fluent German and English language skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Proficient negotiation skills
Advanced/Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
Problem-solving with a hands-on approach
Strong analytical capabilities
Capacity to listen and communicate solutions at all levels.
