Conducting functional safety analyses, including Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and define safety requirements for various automotive components and systems.

Performing safety assessments throughout the development lifecycle, from concept to production, to identify potential safety issues and drive risk mitigation strategies.

Evaluating and selecting appropriate safety mechanisms and technologies to enhance the safety performance of our vehicles.

Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, etc.) and guiding the team through the certification process.
Your profile
- Degree qualified or comparable experience
- Experience of product development activities for safety critical systems, such as Advanced Driver Assistance Experience of working with automotive safety standards and management systems, such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508
- Experience of safety analysis at a system level, such as safety concepts, hazard analysis, risk assessments, FMEA, FTA etc
.
The position is confirmed inside IR35 and will be offered on a PAYE basis in line with the Agency Working Regulations. Successful candidates need to be eligible to work in the UK.
