The role is for an Automotive Electrical Design and Release Engineer to work within the Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering area for our customer Ford Motor Company.
About the role
Responsible for Design and Release of EESE components and sub-systems
Liaise with suppliers, vehicle manufacturing, core engineering and global program teams
Manage, co-ordinate and develop communications between internal and external
stakeholders.
Lead development, documentation, deployment and continuous improvement of best
practices for process, methods and documentation.
Develop and maintain request for quotations with suppliers
Maintain project plans
Support vehicle, component and systems level testing
Create, update and control program specific BoM
Coordinate FSU, production and all other releasing (WERS & IVS)
Maintain the resolution of any problems which occur within the component development
Document all organization, structure and process improvements made by the systems engineering team.
Coordination with other departments within Customer and its Suppliers
Tracking and reporting in accordance with Ford processes
