BOM management and monitoring activities for the various versions of the car. It includes not only the weight characteristics of the components but also the car fittings with creation of the OPT matrix;

Activity of checking estimated weights: this involves weighing all the components to create statistics with respect to the estimated weights and to validate the final design weight projections;

Discuss weight reduction activities with the various functions and the car development team;

Weight reduction activities by optimisation with FEM calculations of existing mathematics;

Checking the data provided by the various project managers by means of CAD control;

Disclosure of weight data to all interested bodies such as homologation, safety, calculations, vehicle dynamic performance and consumption/emissions;

Benchmarking activities.
- Degree in mechanical engineering or similar;
- 1-3 years experience in weight management;
- Knowledge of SW CAD Catia V5;
- Knowledge of FEM SW;
- Knowledge of Office package (in particular Excel);
- Knowledge of English.
