As part of a direct placement for a well-known customer (Munich area), we are looking for Vehicle Drivetrain Functions Engineer (m/f/x):

Defining functional descriptions and interfaces for powertrain systems and components
Creating concepts for vehicle functions to satisfy specifications at the system and subsystem levels (including powertrain and components like battery, motor, etc.)
Optimizing electrical vehicle design by combining electrical and functional aspects of the electric vehicle
Establishing the vehicle powertrain functional dependencies
Optimizing vehicle functionalities to enhance system efficiency
Tailoring electrical component functions to electrical drivetrain system needs
Combining electrical and functional system architectures into a vehicle platform
Mapping vehicle requirements to platform requirements using model-based techniques
Formulating and assessing model-based requirements
Ensuring adherence to electrical system and component requirements and maintaining adequate test coverage
Analyzing and evaluating use cases at the system and vehicle levels, considering constraints and current component parameters
Organizing and overseeing suppliers

Was Sie mitbringen:

Bachelor (preferably Master) degree in area of electrical engineering, vehicle technology or a comparable course of study
1+ years relevant working experience in industry or university projects
Understanding of electronics and software architecture of vehicles
Understanding of complex contexts and (analytical) problem solving skills
Hands-on experience with electric vehicles
Knowledge and experience with automotive and electric vehicle tractive system
Knowledge and experience with automotive development processes (i.e. V-Model)
Experience with technical project structures in the automotive industry
Knowledge and experience with Jira, Confluence and similar agile tools (e.g. Atlassian) · Experience with agile working methods (e.g. Scrum, Kan-Ban)
Experience with project management toolchain (Codebeamer or similar)
Strong communication skills – face to project management, component owners and suppliers
Great enthusiasm for two-wheeler engineering and electric vehicles
Fluent English (C1 or higher) and German (C2) language proficiency
