Service Development Engineer with German

What to expect:

Develop and validate assembly, repair, and maintenance concepts for new and existing vehicle models.
Create structured damage codes to support systematic fault analysis and diagnostics.
Conduct digital and on-vehicle service checks to ensure feasibility and efficiency of service procedures.
Define and calculate service and repair costs, supporting cost transparency and optimization.
Prepare spare parts proposals and collaborate with spare parts management teams.
Actively participate in development committees, providing service-related input and preparing technical reports.
Collaborate with departments such as development, quality, purchasing, and service to ensure alignment and integration of service requirements.

What you bring along:

Fluent in German and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Completed technical vocational training in automotive engineering or a related field.
Several years of professional experience in service engineering, aftersales, maintenance, or product development within the automotive industry.
Proven experience in creating maintenance and repair concepts and conducting systematic fault analysis.
Knowledge of spare parts management is a strong advantage.
Proficient in MS Office and service documentation tools such as CALEA or equivalent.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, especially in interdisciplinary environments.
