What to expect:

We are currently looking for active support for our team in the area of simulation. The following tasks await you as part of this job:
• Independent creation and modification of simulation models using ANSA, LoCo and other tools for LS-Dyna.
• Execution and plausibility check of calculations for stiffness, strength, abuse, fatigue strength and functional developments for pedestrian protection and FMH, as well as crash and occupant protection.
• Creating presentations, documentation and presenting the results to customer committees.
• Development and implementation of optimization proposals.
• Supporting the assemblies from a simulation point of view (pedestrian protection, FMH, stiffness/strength, crash/occupant protection) from the design phase to series production.
• Working in a team with the design department and the testing department.
• You will work independently in close cooperation with our customer

What you bring along:

• Completed technical or scientific studies in the field of automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study or comparable training
• Ideally experience with FEM systems (e.g. LS-Dyna, Ansa, Animator, ...)
• Ideally professional experience in vehicle development for the areas of pedestrian protection or FMVSS201u is an advantage
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. TCL, Python, Bash) an advantage
• Independent and structured way of working, quick comprehension, reliability, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
• High level of commitment
• Communication skills, service-oriented
• Business fluent in English
